It is too wide for the slot on my Milwaukee circular saw. The measurements on the scale are accurate.
2009: I finally got around to filing off those 'nubs' and now it does a good job. I'm sure I'll be happy with it once I can modify it to fit properly.Update Dec.
I had the same experience as G. I will have to file them off.Until I can do that, though, I forced the thing into the slot (skinning a knuckle in the process) and used it, and it does the job nicely so long as you don't want to rip anything wider than six inches.
Still a little too snug in the slot but usable and very useful. Mealhouse.
The problem seems to be that the metal-stamping process left several little 'nubs' of metal along the edge.
Try one on the saw before you buy it. Does not fit on the saw properly, the blade is too wide.
you can buy if you use a circular saw. The title says it all, simple and reliable. Probably the biggest "bang for the buck" acc.
a must-have addition. saves time and energy. an inexpensive way to add precision to your woodworking. simple to use.
Sturdy stamped metal. For some reason this was not included in my case. Measurements are accurate. Include 1 brass-plastic wing-nut and 2 small spare wing-nuts. There is a nice spot for it in the case. Nice to have when you need it.
